Hey, I just stumbled across this and knowing that there are more than a couple of us crazy vampire players in the club I thought I would post it.

Like with all the other rumours, its still early days and there is nothing to say that this isn't made up by someone somewhere. On the other hand... Could offer a bit of a head start on planning ahead.

It was looking good until I spotted the Storm Harbinger that holds Sixten models
Hi there,
Yeah it has been posted on Warseer and Bolter and Chainsword before being quickly taken down. Both forums are rife with rumour of how genuine it is or if it is a genuine WiP version then what will make the final version.
n/a
oh dear. Looks like the Blood Angels thread on Warseer was closed and deleted for the amount of guesswork posted there.
n/a
Deleted? That only usually happens when theres too much copyright material on a thread... otherwise they just tend to lock em don't they?
Just to throw a bit more into the smelting pot...
Looking at this article: http://www.belloflostsouls.net/2010/02/40k-rumors-blood-angels-on-lamb.html
or more specifically this quote:
"Games Workshop is reported to remark that a leaked copy of the Blood Angel rules was out and about. This is taken by many as confirmation that the 2nd wave rumors are correct, and legitimate, if not final rules."
We might be on to a winner...

Well the new codex has been sighted and the lander confirmed

Wonder how much 3 will set me back :)
There will be dodge lander spam arriving at some stage just to warn you all \o/
n/a
Dont worry though everyone, poor old Dodge will spend the next 18 years painting 3 of them!!!!!!!!!!!
ahem, new club rule, fully painted armys only (thats my tactic to get around 3 of them)
I want one - but it's not getting released for ages probably...

It is looking good - reportedly from people who have viewed the codex, and given the link to the image above, *very* credible indeed!
My favourite points - the special army wide deepstrike changes, a legal 30man + 6 dread deathcompany that gets rerolls to hit and to wound on the charge, librarian dread moving with jump packs thanks to Wings of Sanguinius, and finally the new Sanguinor HQ unit :D

Oh I am sooooo happy!!

Here Come Mephiston!!
n/a
He is practically a Primarch now :D or at the very least a monstrous creature in power armour! :D
n/a
Now just get him within 6" of a sanguine priest with grail for furious charge and FNP, S7 I8 on the charge.....yes please!!
Mwah
followed closely by
HA HA HA

pictures of models on bols! oh yeah - love the death company
n/a
I'm liking the look of the wings in place of jump packs, might have to grab some of those for my angels! The death company look rather good too I hope they're plastic! Now i'm sorely tempted to jump on the BA bandwagon >.<
n/a
Early reports would indicate that the new Death Company are indeed plastic. I have decided to stop assembling my current tac and assault marines so I can get to play with the new sprues and swap things around (so much for having everything done ready for the new codex...).
n/a
Sweeeeet! That makes my dreams of a whole army of legion of the damned a whole lot more real! Just gotta remove the blood angel specifics and keep the bones! Ace.

From B&C
So so happy!!!!
n/a
Man, I really hope that's in there. Lining up two furiosos for my army!

Will find out this weekend. Matt said their black box of goodies arrives on Friday....I will be there!!
n/a
I'll see you there!!

HERO on B&C has posted pretty firm stuff on rules and points costs....there are some ouchies in there...Spec Characters make the Space Pups Codex look cheap. Mephiston is a huge point sink and crucially not an IC apparently so he will take some looking after! Dante and the Sanguinor get no change from the cost of a land raider and Seth is apparently just under Kantor prices but increase your Red Rage chances to 50%
I can see a lot of Seth/chaplain lists in the offing with Mephiston and Dante being just too expensive in 1500 point games.....not that it will stop me trying them in lists :)
Sanguianry Priests as Elites seem to be pretty damm good given you can now spam Red Grail furious charge. 3 6" Furious Charge and FNP bubbles....yes please!!
Baal Preds as fast scout vehicles are going to be fun but the one that caught my eye was the vindicator
costs 30pts more than a Codex vindi but is a fast vehicle.....move 12", fire Demolisher Cannon....oh good god yes please!!!
Oh and the cream de la cream which has the fluff nuts going mad.....deep striking Land Raiders have apparently been confirmed at no points increase........... Colon, Capital O! (the catch being they are dedicated transport only options)

ROFL....that has to be your profile avatar now!!

I love them all, except Astrogoth who I'd need to see up close. Can't wait to get the book and some new Baal preds though. To all those who can remember me running three in the past - look out!!
n/a
They're all looking rather sweet, very pleased that the sanguinary guard and the death company are plastic!
Though I don't see a Mephiston or one of those big transport things among the new releases.
n/a
I take it you've chosen your next GT army already then.
Some of this stuff is sounding very brutal, not sure how I feel about them yet. Really want to see the new book.
Mephiston has not been recast, so you can get a headstart by picking up the current one. The new flyer/lander however is not even pictured in the codex, and it is widely assumed to be a second wave release. In the meantime it is almost tempting to pick up a valkyrie and a rhino (I would say landraider, but then its getting a bit costly) and bash them together hard enough to make something interesting.
The other option, of course, is to wait and see if Forgeworld do a casting of it for us.

Like most of the models but I hope some of the rules aren't quite as insane as they sound. I've not been impressed with the way some of the more recent codexes (and army books, for that matter) have ramped up the extreme silliness in places.
