Some reasonably consistent rumours put the Trygon as having two more wounds, two more attacks and better Ld than the 5th ed. Carnifex, for only 40 points more. If the rumours are true (always a big if), Nidzilla will be around in a big way, but with different monsters.

P.S. Also looking forward to the game, I've only had the chance to play it twice. Hmm, there are some built up tiles on the campaign map, maybe it's time to break out CoD as well...
Do you mean just getting out lots of buildings or actually using the cities of death book as well? Planetstrike has plenty of scope for using lots and lots of scenery as it stands. (All up to you at that.)
I've seen some of the rumours. Many of them have me worried. Loss of immunity to instant death puts warriors back to being incredibly fragile.
Sorry, I meant trying to work some CoD games into the campaign, let's keep this one as Planetstrike.
Tyranid rumours - I know what you mean. Looks like Warriors will do better in less competitive games, but worse in high-level environments due to the number of high strength guns around. :-(
It's the Pryovore rumours that have me really stumped - what I've heard so far makes it likely to be taken about as often as Chaos Spawn, which is a real shame given how nice the model is. Ah well, only another week or two...

I'd be up for a planetstrike game. Fancy facing nids? The new book will be out by then.
Although if I take nids it would make sense for the eldar to be the defenders, would you mind that?
Sounds good to me, and definitely makes sense for the Eldar to be the defenders.

Great, must make sure to get a Trygon and paint it up quick. That model is just too nice not to use. The plastic gargoyles are sweet too.
Now if there was a way to get my hands on the book before release day...
If there's only one of the bleeping things then I'll be happy...
Lovely model, though.

We don't even know if it will be any good yet.
It is indeed a lovely model though. Hence why I want one.
My main worry for nids and planetstrike is cracking open those bunkers. I'll need multiple monstrous creatures if I am to get you out of those things.
Haven't played planetstrike in ages though so am really looking forward to the game.

I agree on the Pyrovore. By the sounds of it that rather good model has really terrible rules.
A week or two more and we shall indeed find out what is what with the new nids.
Thanks for the clarification about the game.
