Would I be right in thinking

Would I be right in thinking that there is a cap on image size as well? Just tried to upload a 2.5MB jpeg and had to scale it down to about 200KB before I could upload it.

Sorry, I forgot to say that

Sorry, I forgot to say that there is a 2MB cap. If it's going to be a pain I can increase it.

No not especially. Not sure

No not especially. Not sure how much disk space/bandwidth allowance we have for the website to don't want to eat it up. 2MB should be more than fine for most I should think

Space/bandwidth is

Space/bandwidth is 100GB/100GB per month across all my sites, so it shouldn't be a problem.

I'll increase it to 3MB, and if the images folder starts getting too big I'll resample all the larger files.

Bulk uploading

By the way, if anyone wants to upload lots of images at once, I can set up an FTP account and instructions for bulk-importing images.

Might be handy for apoc games and such. Especially if anyone documents the upcoming campaign.

That's what I was thinking - especially if several of use US start doing painting logs for the campaign.

Hmm, ideas. I'll have a look at adding some extra text to the image pages for logged in members - the BBcode to embed a thumbnail which links back to the image page on this website - this would make it a doddle to add images to Warseer etc.

Just wondering, did you add the FTP option?

Not yet, because the image import function doesn't generate 'nice' URLs to match the rest of the site pages, and I haven't found a way to update the URLs without giving everyone the ability to screw up every URL on the site...
