My little brother is planning out his Imperial Guard army and wants to base it on a load of Valks dropping in the various units of soldiers. As I was helping him with it a few questions came to mind that will shape the way we do the list entirely.

Firstly, as seen as the valks can be taken in squadrons of 1-3, does the whole squadron operate as one single unit and have to remain within a certain distance of each other or do they act as seperate units. (Does the same go for land speeders too, now that I think of it?) Secondly, when doing the reserve rolls for them, do you do 1 roll for the whole squadron or 1 roll for each individual valk?

And with regard to the transport side of it, can a squadron of 3 valks transport a Company Command and 2 units of Veterans for example?
