Congratulations to all who attended, the Inquisition did well! Dominating the 40K and stealing 1st place in fantasy. Well done!
I look forward to pics from those who remembered to bring and use their cameras. I hope everyone who took part had fun and thanks to Ryga's for running the events.
Edit: To clarify;
Marcus walked off with 1st for 40K
James took 2nd for 40K
Neil took 3rd for 40k
Rob took best painted
I won the fantasy. I think Ian got some shots of the prize giving so prepare for some ugly disturbing photos.

well done to everyone. a great shot across the bows at SOME (not all) of the 40k cross-swords players too who were guilty of being some of the worst gamers i've ever encountered at any tournament!
oh hubris! of course, it's okay for us to be guilty of this!
seriously though - great results but very strange rulespack. by this i mean the strange ruling that meant i had to use the three year old pdf you can't get any more instead of my one month old book. great stuff eldritch games. also bravo for mentioning the rule 'escalation'. a mere two years out of date!
despite the hindrance of the crazy rulespack - john and rob from rygas did an amazing job of running the tournament in my opinion, so congrats to them!

Yes, tea and medals are in order. However we just had to settle for the prizes on offer.
It was a fun event, John and Robin did a good job running things. Especially since the rules pack was a bit out of date (make that very) and working on a different timetable to the actual event.
I second/third the praise to John and Rob for running the event. Marcus and I finished on the same tournament points, with 57 out of a possible 60, but he pushed me in second place with a slightly better painting score (thanks Col.G). Pleased with a £30 voucher, but that space marine force would of been all the sweeter, was dissapointed to get no trophy as well (unlike last year)!
Cross-swords members seemed to be involved in all the farcical events of the day, with the codex moaning and cheating allegations.
I like the 20 point scoring system, and think we should look seriously at using this when EI run our own tournament.

Concurred.
And James it's a pleasure.
*looks shifty*
Now then Marcus, about that *cough* bribe *cough* you owe me!
Yes I heard today that we had done very well at Vanquish. I've heard a lot about it and would have loved to have gone along but sadly this year it was not to be.
Next year, though... :)

Well done all.....3.67 for sporting score....did Marcus try dry humping people again?

One of the Cross Swords, displaying all the qualities of someone who likes to crosswords gave him a 2... (which was apparently very generous of him)
That was the Eldar player that Marcus tabled without a single loss, wasn't it?
